Our services

As you may have experienced, there are lots of problems that can arise from even the smallest of projects you wish to carry out in your home, especially if there is more than one trade required.

'You need tradesmen that you can trust in your home, to do a good job and at a fair price'.

Take a new kitchen for example, you may need a Builder, a Plasterer, a Plumber, an Electrician, a Tiler.... and that's even before the actual kitchen is fitted!.

Its good practice to get at least a couple of quotes from each so you can meet the people and get the prices. This could mean using your time organising and attending appointments with up to 10 to 15 people, waiting then wading through their quotes and hoping you make the right choice. What a headache!

'So you have made your decision, and once the work starts new problems may arise'.

Multiple trades may be wandering in and out of your house, at different times, some are tidy, some aren't, some put dust sheets down, some don't. Who has the key? Does everyone know the code to the alarm, or do you leave it off and leave the key under the mat leaving your home unsecure?

This is assuming that everyone will be on site at the same time.  All the trades need to come in at different times of the project to complete their part of the work,

'The builder says ' I've finished'  you call the electrician and he can't come for two weeks!'.

The answer maybe to book them all in, but what if the builder finds a problem and needs more time? You miss your slot with the electrician and the project is off schedule right down the line with everyone else.

These problems in one form or another happen all the time giving you a headache, a messed up house and a job taking longer than it needs to.

Sometimes accidents and mistakes happen, but with different tradesmen coming in and out, who's at fault as everyone blames everyone else? Are they insured?

You would have thought it good practice to focus on one project at a time, but in reality most building companies are carrying out work to multiple jobs at any one time, creating confusion for all their customers.

This may sound a strange question, but we ask you to pay close attention to the way tradespersons present themselves when they arrive to meet you.? What does their van look like, is its filthy, rusty, signage peeling, with everything thrown in the back? In my experience, most meet this poor description time and again. If that is how they look after themselves and their own belongings, how can you expect them to look after yours?.
